Thank
you for your interest in the ASDC Oregon/Washington Holidays
Party for Deaf Children. The party will be held in the Norse Hall
Ballroom on the afternoon
of Sunday, December 5, 2010. This is a very important event to the
Oregon and Washington Deaf communities. It provides deaf children with the
opportunity to meet deaf children attending other schools as well as to
meet successful deaf adults who provide the kids with motivating
positive role models. Plus it’s lots of fun for everyone and a great
way to celebrate the holidays! As always, we will be inviting young deaf children (and their families) who enjoy playing games and winning prizes; doing crafts; being entertained with signed skits and stories; getting presents and having a good time. Cash donations are used to purchase refreshments, pay the room charge and supplement the toy donations, so that there are enough good quality toys and food for everyone attending. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible cash donation, checks should be made out to “ASDC OR/WA Holidays Party for Deaf Children” and sent to:
Holidays Party Committee Your donation is tax deductible through American Society for Deaf Children, which is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization. Our website contains a list of our 2010 donors. If you have any questions, send us e-mail at info@deafkidsparty.org or contact Chris Anderson at 503-256-7989 (V/TTY). In advance, we thank you for your support of the ASDC Oregon/Washington Holidays Party for Deaf Children. |
